Blackburn & Brown to Hold Meeting for Ruby Tequila's Employees

Local law firm Blackburn & Brown, LLP is hosting a meeting next week for unpaid employees of the now-closed Ruby Tequila's.

As we previously reported, both Ruby Tequila's locations in Amarillo were found closed by interested patrons with no prior warning. Employees also reported not being informed of the closings, as the parent company, Fired Up Holdings, remained silent.

Blackburn & Brown announced the meeting for local employees to come hear legal options. For the employees in Lubbock, Blackburn & Brown is also planning a meeting there later in the week.

The meeting looks set to be led by local attorney Jeff Blackburn.

The meeting will be held on Monday, July 31st at the Pipefitters' Union Hall (1505 SW 7th Avenue). The meeting will begin at 5:30pm.
