Attorney Matt Martindale has joined the race for the Randall County Court at Law #2 position, currently held by Judge Ronnie Walker.
Martindale is an attorney who has practiced in Amarillo for 16 years. Martindale is the former city attorney for Gray County and is also the frontman for the band Cooder Graw.
Martindale did not return our request for comment.
The race for Randall County Court at Law is currently packed, featuring Martindale and local attorneys Stewart Werner and James Abbott. It is not clear whether Ronnie Walker will seek re-election to the bench.
Candidates may file for a position on the ballot until December 11th.
