Democratic Senate candidate Beto O'Rourke (D-El Paso) has planned another visit to the Amarillo area for next week.
O'Rourke has added a visit to Pampa as part of his tour of Texas cities ahead of the 2016 Democratic primary election. O'Rourke's visit to Pampa is in addition to his already announced visit to Amarillo on the evening of August 8th.
O'Rourke's visit to Pampa will be a coffee event at Finley's Fountain (114 N. Cuyler). The event will allow supporters of O'Rourke's candidacy to grab coffee and hear what the candidate's vision in for Texas.
That event starts at 9am.
Also that evening, O'Rourke plans to visit Amarillo's Austin Middle School Auditorium (1808 Wimberly Rd.) That event will give Amarillo residents an opportunity to ask O'Rourke questions about his plans, if elected.
The Amarillo event will kick off at 6:30pm.
