The Amarillo Police Department is investigating the robbery of a CEFCO location that look place on Sunday, September 3rd.
APD reports that officers were dispatched to the CEFCO at 5000 I-40 West on the morning of September 3rd. A female employee told officers that she was seated when a suspect came in with a small silver handgun. The suspect demanded money and the employee complied. The suspect then left on foot.
The suspect was described as being a Hispanic male, aged 30-40 wearing a flat brim cowboy hat, brown jacket and black pants.
Amarillo PD's Robbery Squad is investigating.
