The Randall County Sheriff's Office is reporting a fatality in a structure fire that occurred on September 3rd.
Sheriff's office information shows that Randall County dispatch recieved a call of a structure fire at the Country Estates Mobile Home Park at 7900 SW 81st Street at 3:03am. Units from the Randall County Fire Department, the Amarillo Fire Department, the Randall County Sheriff’s Office and the Amarillo Police Department responded to the fire.
It was reported that another may still be inside of the structure but crews were unable to enter due to the intensity of the fire.
The fire was called under control at 4:18am. One fatality was reported. A 58 year male who was disabled and used a wheel chair was found deceased. A name has not been released.
