Amarillo native Ryan Palmer is currently leading the pack of professional golfers at the Farmers Insurance Open.
In leaderboard standings, as of Friday afternoon, Palmer is sitting atop the pack with a total of 11 under par. Palmer is leading the pack after closing out two low rounds at Torrey Pines.
Right behind the Amarillo native, Jon Rahm is in second place with 10 under par. Luke List and Tony Finau are pulling up the end behind Rahm and Palmer, in a tie for third place, both holding a score of 9 under.
The tournament will close out on Sunday, January 28th. The purse for the winner is estimated at $6,900,000, according to CBS Sports.
