Amarillo native Aaron Watson has set a record in his climb on the Billboard Country charts.
According to Billboard, Watson set a record for longest climb into the Billboard Country Chart top ten. Watson, a native of Amarillo, reached the Billboard Country Airplay top ten with his hit "Outta Style" after 50 long weeks. Watson's record setting run beat out Chris Lane's "For Her," which reached the top ten after 48 weeks on the chart.
Watson's hit is from his album Vaquero. "Outta Style" is Watson's first hit to reach the Country Airplay top ten.
