The City of Amarillo is seeking applicants for spots on various advisory boards for the upcoming year.
According to the City of Amarillo, applications are being accepted now through November 1st for places on various advisory boards in Amarillo. These boards serve as overseeing bodies of various departments and typically report back to the Amarillo City Council at some point. Board members may also occasionally recommend ordinances and, in rare instances, have spending authority.
Applicants who applied last year are asked to reapply this year, as previous applications have expired.
