The Amarillo Police Department is currently investigating an armed robbery at a Toot ‘N Totum convenience store in north Amarillo.
According to APD, officers were dispatched on Wednesday to an armed robbery at the Toot ‘N Totum location at 1627 North Grand. The suspect displayed a handgun and told the clerk to give him money. The suspect left the scene westbound, on foot, with an undisclosed amount of money.
Authorities say the suspect is described as possibly being a black male in his late teens or early 20’s. The suspect wore a black bandana over his face, a red hoodie, a black long sleeved shirt over the hoodie, light colored skinny jeans and black shoes with an emblem on top.
