'Die Hard' Returning to Amarillo Big Screen

The Bruce Willis-starring 1980’s action classic “Die Hard” will return to an Amarillo theater next month for four special showings.

On November 11th and 14th, “Die Hard” will return to the big screen at the Cinemark Hollywood 16 theater in Amarillo for two showings on each day. Tickets are now on sale for 2PM and 7PM screenings on both days. The screenings will celebrate the film’s 30th anniversary, since being released.

“Die Hard” tells the story of John McClane, a New York City policeman, who has to save hostages from terrorists at a Christmas party in a Los Angeles office building. Since being released, the film has gained a cult following, with Empire and Forbes both naming the film the great Christmas movie of all time.

Tickets for both showings are available through Fandango.com.
