Rosser Named Amarillo Pioneer Hall of Famer

Trent Rosser is the newest addition to the Amarillo Pioneer Hall of Fame.

On Wednesday, the Amarillo Pioneer editorial board made its decision to induct Pioneer columnist Trent Rosser as the sixth Pioneer Hall of Fame inductee, in the Entertainment class. Rosser is being honored for his columns in the Amarillo Pioneer, which were first published in 2016.

“You’re not going to find another columnist like Trent Rosser,” Amarillo Pioneer editor Thomas Warren III said. “He’s incredibly committed to his community, he’s a funny guy and he loves to tell his stories.”

Rosser joined the Amarillo Pioneer team in 2016, after finding the Amarillo Pioneer through a Facebook advertisement. Since that time, Rosser has interviewed celebrities and heroes, with his 2017 interview with World Wrestling Entertainment legend Jake “The Snake” Roberts earning him significant praise from the wrestling community.

Trent Rosser will join the late Dennis Stamp in the Amarillo Pioneer Hall of Fame entertainment class and is the sixth person overall to ever be inducted. In addition to Stamp, Donald Nicholson, Charles Warford, Lyndon Moss, and William Sumerford were inducted in 2017.

For these reasons, we honor Trent Rosser as the newest inductee into the Amarillo Pioneer Hall of Fame.

Note: Additional 2018 inductees will be announced over the coming weeks.
