Dwayne Stovall has announced he will be running for the U.S. Senate again in 2020, this time as an independent.
This week, Stovall announced his intention to challenge Senator John Cornyn again in 2020, saying he has left the Republican party to seek the office as an independent. Stovall previously ran for the office in 2014, placing third in a field of eight candidates in the Republican primary.
Stovall is the first announced candidate for the U.S. Senate general election for next year. No Democrats, Republicans or Libertarians have announced their candidacies, at this time.
Stovall
