Amarillo's Animal Management and Welfare Board is meeting this week to talk about functions at the department.
On Wednesday, February 7th, members of the Animal Management & Welfare Advisory Board will meet to discuss issues currently related to the department. Members of the board will discuss operations and volunteer programs at the department and will discuss potential changes to the city's fowl ordinance.
The executive director of the Amarillo-Panhandle Humane Society will also address the board at that time.
The meeting will begin at 5:30pm in the City Council Conference Room on Amarillo City Hall (509 Southeast 7th Avenue) on Wednesday, February 7th.
