Animal Management Board to Take Action on Animal Ordinance

The Amarillo Animal Management & Welfare Advisory Board will take action on proposed changes to the City's fowl and animal ordinance next week.

According to an agenda posted for the meeting, board members will consider taking a formal action on a change to the ordinance regarding fowl and animal ordinance. Specifically, the board will tackle the topics of breeders, fees, sales of animals and mandatory spay and neuter.

Also, during the meeting, board members will discuss the Amarillo-Panhandle Humane Society's "90-Four-90" Plan.

The meeting will be held on Wednesday, March 7th in Room 303 of Amarillo City Hall (509 Southeast 7th Avenue). Board members will commence the meeting at 5:30pm.
