The world-famous Glenn Miller Orchestra will be performing in Lubbock next month.
Glenn Miller's Orchestra will play at the historic Cactus Theater in Lubbock on Saturday, March 3rd. The classic swing band will be playing the theater as part of their nationwide tour.
First established by Glenn Miller in 1938, the band was organized to perform swing hits created and written by Miller. After Miller's disappearance in 1944, the band was reformed in 1956 under Tex Beneke. The group has been touring the world ever since, playing hits from Miller's tenure with the original band.
