President Donald Trump will address a National Rifle Association event in Dallas this week.
According to the Dallas Morning News, it was confirmed Monday that Trump will speak at the NRA Convention in Dallas on Friday, May 4th. Trump's appearance was confirmed following the announcement that Vice President Mike Pence would also speak at the NRA gathering.
The appearance by Trump will mark the first of two scheduled appearances by the President in Texas for the month of May. Trump has plans to headline a fundraising dinner in Dallas later in the month, as well. Trump's appearance at the NRA convention will also mark the third straight year that Trump has attended the NRA gathering, after winning the organization's endorsement at the 2016 NRA convention.
