FC Amarillo made its debut in the Professional Indoor Soccer League at the Amarillo Civic Center on Sunday against FC Lubbock. The first quarter saw a low scoring affair. Lubbock led 1-0 after the first quarter. Amarillo came pack with a flurry of 3 goals in less than a minute during the second quarter and by halftime it was 5-1 Amarillo. Things slowed down in the third with the score 7-3. The fourth quarter saw a charge by Lubbock as they scored 3 goals in the first five minutes of the fourth quarter. Amarillo held on with some great saves from their goalie for an 9-6 victory. FC Amarillo will play again at the Civic Center on Sunday June 2nd. Tickets are available through Panhandle Tickets.
