Potter Commissioners to Discuss Changing Holiday Pay Rules

Potter County Commissioners will meet on Monday to discuss a variety of issues, including amending the County's holiday pay rules.

According to an agenda posted for the Potter County Commission's meeting, Commissioners will consider a request from Road and Bridge to change the holiday pay rules. Under the proposed change, employees who regularly work ten hour shifts would be paid for ten hours on the days in which that employee would be scheduled to work. The change would edit the current rules that set a paid holiday as eight hours.

Also, during the meeting, Commissioners will discuss replacing a radio tower for the JP3 office and will discuss the formation of a Cross Bar Ranch Committee. Commissioners will also consider changing the way that County data is stored on servers.

The County Commission will meet on Monday, May 14th in Room 106 of the Potter County Courthouse (500 S. Fillmore). The meeting will begin at 9am.
