Parks Board to Receive Update on Gene Howe Project

The Amarillo Parks and Recreation Advisory Board will receive an update next week regarding the ongoing Gene Howe Park Area Improvement Project.

On Tuesday, May 8th, members of the Amarillo Parks and Recreation Advisory Board will receive updates on several issues. Board members will receive an update on the Gene Howe Park Improvement Project from Pat Westbrook, assistant director of Parks. The board will also receive a presentation on Zoo events and will hear from the department director.

A public forum will be held at the conclusion of the meeting.

The Parks and Recreation Advisory Board will meet on Tuesday, May 8th, in Room 306 of Amarillo City Hall (509 Southeast 7th Avenue). The Board will meet at 1:30pm.
