Voters will head to the polls to decide three races in Potter County and a top-ticket Democratic race beginning next week.
On Monday, May 14th, early voting kicks off in several races for local voters. In Potter County, Republicans are making decisions on three local judicial races. Steven Michael Denny and Pamela Cook Sirmon are the candidates for 320th District Judge, Len Walker and Walt Weaver are locked in a race for Potter County Court at Law #1, and Matthew Hand and Wade Overstreet will meet for a runoff in the race for County Court at Law #2.
Also, Democrats in both counties will be choosing their nominee for governor. Lupe Valdez, a former Dallas sheriff, and Andrew White, a Houston businessman, are the two candidates in that race.
Early voting will run through Friday, May 18th. Election day is Tuesday, May 22nd.
