An author who has created special languages for movies and television will be a special guest at this year's AMA-CON.
David J. Peterson was announced last week as a special guest for this year's AMA-CON. Peterson is the creator of artificial languages, used in film and television. Among Peterson's credits are languages in "Thor: The Dark World," "Game of Thrones," "Doctor Strange" and "Bright." Peterson has also penned several books.
At this year's AMA-CON, Peterson will deliver a lecture to attendees and will serve as a celebrity judge for a steampunk and cosplay competition.
Several other additional guests for the convention will be announced soon. AMA-CON will be held from August 4th through August 5th at the Amarillo Civic Center Complex. Proceeds benefit the Friends of the Amarillo Public Library.
