With the November election rapidly approaching, the Amarillo Pioneer wants to know who will be receiving your support.
On Tuesday, the Amarillo Pioneer launched its survey for the November 2018 election. The survey includes every contested statewide election and three contested local elections. Respondents will have the option to declare their support for Republican, Democratic or Libertarian nominees. Candidates who are not yet on the ballot are not included in the survey.
Amarillo Pioneer editor Thomas Warren said on Tuesday that the survey will allow voters to get their voices heard well ahead of election day.
"This survey is our way of encouraging the community to think about who they want representing them come 2019," Warren said. "This is going to be an incredibly important election and we want to make sure voters are already thinking about their choices ahead of time."
The survey will be online through Saturday, June 23rd. Results will be announced the following Monday.
