One local Democrat is hosting a meet and greet on Saturday.
Greg Sagan, the Democratic nominee for U.S. House of Representative, District 13, will host a meet and greet Saturday, June 9th from 2pm until 4pm at the Charles Warford Activity Center (1330 NW 18th Avenue). At the meet and greet, light refreshments will be available, as voters are invited to meet the Democrat hoping to represent them in Washington.
In addition, attendees are asked to consider bringing a snack item to donate to the Warford Center's Summer Program.
Sagan, a former newspaper columnist and Navy veteran, is challenging incumbent Republican Congressman Mac Thornberry in November. Libertarian Calvin DeWeese will also be on the ballot.
