A paint sprayer reportedly caused a fire on Amarillo Boulevard on Friday morning.
According to the Amarillo Fire Department, crews responded to a structure fire at 4414 Amarillo Boulevard East on Friday morning. A single story commercial building was found with heavy smoke and fire coming from the rear. Crews extinguished the exterior fire and then cleared the rest of the fire. The fire was called under control a little over thirty minutes after crews arrived.
Employees reported that a paint sprayer caught fire while in-use. Nobody was injured in the fire. Damages are undetermined at this time. Fire Marshal officials are reporting that the scene of the fire was a non-conforming cabinet/paint shop.
