Mustard Gives 10,000th Burger to Amarillo Homeless

Dr. Jack Mustard hit a new milestone this week when he delivered his 10,000th burger to Amarillo's homeless on Tuesday.

On Tuesday, Mustard Street Burgers gave out its 10,000th burger in a parking lot near the Guyon Saunders Resource Center. The event marked a milestone for Mustard's organization, which has spent many long days working to feed Amarillo's homeless.

Last week, Mustard credited the volunteers of Mustard Street Charities for making the 10,000 burgers milestone possible.

"There's something to be said for the people who are doing the work," Mustard said. "These people are keeping people sustained through it all."
