The Democrat challenging Mac Thornberry for his congressional seat in November reported pulling in about $1,300 for his campaign over the most recent reporting period.
According to a filing with the Federal Elections Commission, Greg Sagan reported a haul of $1,275.65 for his campaign over the most recent campaign finance reporting period. Sagan's largest individual contribution during the period was a $500 donation from Lee Walters.
For his expenditures, Sagan reporting a handful of expenses, including several printing fees to Vistaprint and expenditures for travel and fundraisers. His largest expense was $3,000 to the Texas Democratic Party for access to the "Voter Activation Network."
Sagan, a retired newspaper columnist and Navy veteran, is facing the Republican Thornberry in November. The third candidate in the race, Libertarian Calvin DeWeese, has not filed any campaign reports thus far, according to information available on fec.gov, as of Friday.
