Congressman Mac Thornberry is reporting heavy fundraising in his bid for another term in the U.S. House of Representatives.
Thornberry, the Republican incumbent, reported $193,527 in itemized contributions during the most recent campaign finance reporting period. The incumbent's campaign was boosted by maximum contributions of $2,700 from nine different donors. At least two of these donations came from out of state, including a contribution from Virginia and a contribution from Oklahoma.
Meanwhile, finance numbers for the most recent reporting period have not yet been posted for Greg Sagan or Calvin DeWeese. Sagan, a Navy veteran and former newspaper columnist, is the Democratic nominee for the seat and DeWesse is the Libertarian nominee for the seat.
All three candidates will meet for the general election in November.
