Potter County to Order Election, Lift Burn Ban

Potter County Commissioners will consider voting to lift the County's burn ban next week.

On Monday, Commissioners will discuss lifting the burn ban currently in effect in Potter County. According to a map from the Texas A&M Forest Service, Potter County is one of several counties in the Panhandle with an ongoing ban, although Randall County Commissioners recently lifted the burn ban in that County.

Also, during the meeting, Commissioners will consider approving an election order for the November general election and will consider accepting a land donation for a fire station and the donation of a Cellibrite Touch Ultimate to the Amarillo Police Department.

Potter County Commissioners will meet on Monday, August 13th in Room 106 of the Potter County Courthouse (500 S. Fillmore). The meeting will begin at 9am.
