Supporters of local Democratic candidates are invited to come out and take part in a fundraiser on Monday.
On Monday, September 24th, a fundraiser will be held at the Charles E. Warford Activity Center, benefiting the Potter-Randall Democratic Club. The Blue, Denim and Dollars fundraiser will feature snacks and more for attendees, plus a desert auction.
Confirmed candidates in attendance will include congressional candidate Greg Sagan and state legislative candidate Mike Purcell. Sagan, a Navy veteran and former newspaper columnist, is challenging Congressman Mac Thornberry in the November election. Purcell, a retired teacher, is challenging State Representative John Smithee in District 86.
