Senator Ted Cruz has a narrow lead over Congressman Beto O’Rourke in a brand new poll released this week.
On Thursday, Public Policy Polling released a brand new poll showing Cruz over O’Rourke by 3 percentage points, 48 percent to 45 percent. Meanwhile, 8 percent of respondents did not make a selection in the pairing. Libertarian Neal Dikeman was not included in the poll.
At the same time, the poll measured favorability for the candidates. Both Cruz and O’Rourke has net disapproval ratings, with Cruz holding a 43 percent to 48 percent approval rating and O’Rourke held a 39 percent to 40 percent approval rating. Favorability ratings were not measured for Dikeman.
The three candidates will meet in the November election.
