City of Amarillo.png

The first transit fare increases since 1994 will take effect beginning Monday in Amarillo.

Approved by the Amarillo City Council, the fare increases will make several fee changes, including the elimination of transfers. Residents planning on transfers must now purchase a $2 day pass. The fee changes also come as Amarillo College students and faculty will ride free-of-charge with proper identification.

Day and month passes can be purchased at City Hall using cash, check, or card. Passes can also be purchased with exact change at the transit office at 801 Southeast 23rd.

For complete information, call 806-378-3095.
