Meetings on the City of Amarillo’s transit system will begin next week.
According to the City of Amarillo, a variety of public meetings have been scheduled regarding possible changes to the transit system, including fare changes, route modifications, and Americans with Disabilities Act service area changes. Any possible changes would not go into effect until October, officials say, and would have to be approved by the Amarillo City Council.
Written comments will also be accepted through June 28th. Comments can be mailed to 801 Southeast 23rd Avenue, Amarillo, Texas, 79105, or can be faxed to 806-378-6842.
