A shooting sent one person to a local hospital on Tuesday night in Amarillo.
According to Amarillo Police, at 8:08PM, officers were dispatched to a residence in the 4400 block of South Bowie on a report of aggravated assault. Officers found an 18-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the upper body. Officers were told that two black males had broken into the residence and demanded items, and before leaving, one of the males reportedly shot the victim.
The suspects are only described as two dark-skinned black males, one 6’4” tall with a blue shirt, and the other 6 feet tall, wearing a black shirt.
The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
