Public Arts Board to Discuss Closing of Sunset Center

The Amarillo Beautification and Public Arts Advisory Board will discuss the closing of an Amarillo icon this week.

On Wednesday, the board will discuss the closing of the Galleries at Sunset Center during its regularly scheduled meeting. The discussion will focus on the closure of the facility and the “next steps,” according to the meeting’s agenda.

Board members also plan to discuss a mural crawl project and ideas for a 2019-2020 beautification project. A public forum will also be held at the end of the meeting.

The meeting will be held on Wednesday, November 13th at 11:45AM in Room 305 of Amarillo City Hall (601 South Buchanan).
