My name is Chris Ekstrom and I am a conservative businessman and political outsider living in Wichita Falls who has built a strong reputation for being a fierce and passionate activist for conservative causes at the national and state level. If elected as the 13th Congressional District’s representative I will be an unwavering advocate to build the wall, defund sanctuary cities at the federal level because the rule of law must matter in America.
You can always count me on to defend the 2nd Amendment from those who seek to infringe on our God-given rights, and am going to Washington to stand shoulder to shoulder with President Trump to ensure his agenda is enacted. I will represent the 13th district, not the lobbyists and special interests in because I’ve had enough of politicians who campaign one way and vote another in Washington D.C.
I’ve been an entrepreneur for over 25 years and I’m the President of Ekstrom Properties a successful commercial real estate investment firm. As a small businessman, I understand firsthand that the best way to grow the economy is for the government to get out of the way.
In 2016, President Trump promised America a wall along our Southern Border and ever since Congress and the Democratic Socialists have fought him all while illegal alien criminals continue to cross our borders. For too long the border has seen crime and illegal drugs pour into America and our communities. Between 2011-2019 illegal immigrants have committed over 299,000 criminal offenses in Texas. That must end but it will take elected officials with the backbone to stand with our president to get the job done.
Texas has no shortage of Farmers and Ranchers and an increasing number of Oil and Gas producers, all industries in the crosshairs of the liberals in D.C. With plans such as the “Green New Deal”, Democrats and their supporters would see the lifeblood of everyday people drained dry and left to rot. America has a proud military history, protecting the innocent and fighting against tyranny. I will also fight to ensure America’s military remains equipped to deal with the ever-changing nature of war. Our soldiers give us our best and deserve nothing less in return. I will stand by those who’ve stood for us, ensure support for Sheppard Air Force Base.
As the Socialist Democrats try and take a wrecking ball to the very fabric of our country this is no time for conservatives to sit on the sidelines. Now more than ever President Trump needs allies in Congress who will stand shoulder to shoulder with him against the Socialist Democrats who seek to weaken our military, our economy, and weaken our way of life. If we want an America that has secure borders, strong families, and a brighter economic future now is the time to stand up and fight. I look forward to fighting every day to represent the values of the people of Congressional District 13.
