Potter County Fire Hands Out Annual Awards

Several firefighters were recognized in Potter County Fire and Rescue’s annual awards this year.

According to a release from Potter County Fire, several firefighters were award honors for tenure and more this year. The awards were given out at Potter County Fire’s annual banquet.

Those honored during this ceremony included:

  • 20 Years of Service- Lt. Kirk Baughman, Dawn Baughman, Asst. Chief George Samples

  • 10 Years of Service- Tyler Perrin, Misty McDonald, Rose Archer, Lt. Kris Archer

  • 5 Years of Service- Julianne Yaws, Joseph Mendoza, Vicky Cothren, Lt. Daniel Blount

  • 3 Years of Service- Richard Zaccardo, Kolton Kendrick

  • Most Training Attended- Lt. Kris Archer 292 Hours

  • CPR Lifesaving Awards- Capt. Brandon Colpetzer, Capt. Mike Kendrick, Lt. Kirk Baughman, Bt. Chief Gwen Campbell, Vicky Cothren, Brayden Johnson, Capt. Larry Yaws, Kacey Dowlen

  • Support Services Volunteer of the Year- Monica Parks

  • Junior/Explorer Firefighter of the Year- Kolton Kendrick

  • Rookie Firefighter of the Year- Richard Cox
