When the Sod Poodles begin play at Hodgetown this April, a special video board will be installed in the outfield.
According to Panhandle Baseball Club, the board will be called “HodgeVision” and will feature measure 60 feet wide by 35 feet tall and include 696,320 total pixels. The board will span the length of the left field wall. The board was purchased last year.
“We are thrilled to share the details of one of the most exciting and unique fan experience pieces that Hodgetown has to offer,” said Tony Ensor, Sod Poodles President and General Manager, in a statement. “Hodgetown will feature one of the largest digital footprints in Minor League Baseball. We cannot wait for fans to experience this innovative technology first hand when we open gates for the first time ever in April.”
