Amarilloans Hosting 'Day of Visibility' March

A group of Amarilloans will host a Transgender Day of Visibility march later this month.

On Sunday, March 31st, the march will be held downtown in conjunction with other similar events happening internationally. Organizers say the march will help celebrate transgender people in the community, and will bring attention to discrimination.

The march will begin at 1503 SW 10th Avenue at 2PM, eventually ending at the Potter County Courthouse on South Fillmore. Registration will begin ahead of the march at 1PM, and speakers will deliver presentations at the conclusion of the march.

A Facebook event has been organized with details, hosted by Panhandle Pride and the Amarillo Area Transgender Support Group.
