Over 1,000 Vote on Second Day of Voting in Amarillo

Over 1,000 ballots were cast during the second day of early voting for the May 4 municipal and school board elections.

According to county vote totals, 676 voters cast ballots in Randall County on Tuesday, while 350 cast ballots in Potter County on Tuesday. The numbers in both counties are up from the previous day’s totals, with Randall County seeing a jump of over 200 voters, and Potter seeing a slight bump over Monday’s numbers.

In total, 1,140 voters have cast ballots in Randall County, while 663 have voted in Potter County. This does not count the total mail-in ballots cast so far, which totals a little over 1,250 ballots.

Early voting will run through April 30, with election day slated for May 4.
