Over 1,000 Cast Ballots on Second Day of Early Voting

Voters continue to turn out early for the upcoming local government and school board elections in the Amarillo area.

According to county elections officials, voters in Potter and Randall Counties cast 1,071 early ballots on Tuesday. This number includes 708 ballots cast in Randall and 363 ballots cast in Potter.

The number of early in-person ballots cast so far currently totals 2,370 between both counties. This is in addition to the 1,535 ballots that have also been cast by mail between both counties.

Early voting continues through April 27. Election Day is May 1.
