If you have ever wanted to be a census taker, then now is your chance.
On Friday, April 26th, the City of Amarillo will host a 2020 Census job fair at the Charles E. Warford Activity Center (1330 NW 18th Avenue). The job fair will feature open positions such as census taker, as well as management positions. Employment will begin in June and last through December 2020.
Applicants must be 18 years or older and a U.S. citizen. Bilingual applications will be asked to pass an oral equivalency exam, City officials say.
