Noah's Remark: Amarillo's Future is Bright

By Noah Dawson

I've written several times before about why, despite the actions of the incumbent council, I have hope for the future of Amarillo. Looking at the list of those running against the incumbents, I feel even more confident now than ever that the future of Amarillo is bright.

Often in elections, there's an incumbent with a list of accomplishments and a challenger with a list of ideas. This time, it seems the reverse is true. Our incumbent council is running on a list of ideas they failed to accomplish during their first term, while many of the challengers have done great things for the community. They've held the council accountable, they've advocated for individual rights, and they've worked hard to make the lives of the people of this city better.

In this election, vote for those candidates with a positive track record and vote the incumbents out.
