Amarillo's Inaugural Spring Women in Business Expo Slated for Friday

Over twenty local businesses owned or operated by women will be gathered for the inaugural spring Women in Business Expo this Friday.

On Friday, April 5th, the first expo will be held at the Arts in the Sunset Horizon West Room during the First Friday Artwalk at 5PM. Multiple local businesses from a wide range of fields will be showcased. Each business is unique, as there will be no duplicate businesses represented. Vendors will offer information to attendees, including details on products for sales and discounts.

This event is organized by Jerri Glover Event Planning and will feature a raffle benefiting Panhandle Breast Health. Raffle tickets will be six for $5 or an arm’s length for $20.

“When I went to find an event like this to join and showcase my businesses, I couldn’t find one,” Glover said. “So—I created it. As an event planner, it is what I do. I always try to give back to the community in everything I do, that’s why I included the raffle to benefit Panhandle Breast Health.”
