Amarillo Grocery Store Continuing Sales Ahead of Closing

Liquidation sales are continuing as one local grocery store prepares to close its doors for good.

Cash Saver Grocery at 2200 South Bell (formerly the Albertson’s store) is running a 50 percent off retail price sale before it prepares to shutter its doors this week. Sales include all products still on the shelves, employees say, including alcohol.

On Tuesday morning, the store was still packed with customers, even as most produce items have since been purchased from the shelves. Customers could be seen picking up frozen foods, dog food, liquor, and more during the sale.

A fixture action has also been planned for July 22nd at the store and online.
