Former Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley will be campaigning for 2020 presidential candidate Beto O’Rourke during Labor Day weekend.
According to details released Tuesday by the O’Rourke campaign, O’Malley will be making stops at several events over two days to campaign for O’Rourke, an El Paso Democrat who is currently seeking his party’s nomination for president. O’Malley previously endorsed O’Rourke prior to his campaign launch earlier this year.
O’Malley, a former Maryland Governor and Baltimore Mayor, ran for president in 2016, dropping out after a poor showing in the Iowa Caucuses that year.
