Four finalists have been named as the City of Canyon looks to pick its next city manager.
According to information released by the City of Canyon this week, the four finalists were selected from a group of applicants from thirteen states and three countries. The eventual final pick will become the first permanent city manager for Canyon since the departure of city manager Randy Criswell earlier this year.
The four finalists are:
Chris Sharp - finance director for the City of Canyon
Jacob Ellis - deputy town manager for Gilbert, Arizona
Jon Behrens - interim city manager for the City of Canyon
Joe Price - assistant city manager and director of planning and development for Borger, Texas
A sole finalist is expected to be selected some time in the near future.
