Texas League playoffs will begin at Hodgetown this week, as the Amarillo Sod Poodles’ regular series has come to a close.
The Sod Poodles secured a spot in the playoffs earlier this year by finishing first in their division in the first half of the season. The result has led the team to be booked against the Midland Rockhounds for a five game series in the Texas League Semifinals. Amarillo will host the first two games of the series, with Midland hosting the remaining three, if necessary.
