Chris Ekstrom has picked up an endorsement from an influential pro-life organization in his bid to replace U.S. Rep. Mac Thornberry (R-Clarendon).
On Thursday, Texas Right to Life announced its support for Ekstrom in the Republican primary to replace Thornberry. The announcement was made on Twitter, with the group calling Ekstrom “a strong Pro-Life leader who will stand by his values.”
In addition to this endorsement, Ekstrom has also received endorsements from a number of influential conservative lawmakers.
Ekstrom is one of 15 Republicans running to succeed Thornberry in 2020. Voters will decide this primary on March 3.
