Watson Selected for Induction Into Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame

Aaron Watson will be inducted into the Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame this week.

Watson, a country musician who is a native of Amarillo, was named as a Spirit of Texas Award winner for induction into the Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame recently. He will officially be inducted into the Hall of Fame on Thursday, January 16th at Billy Bob’s in Fort Worth.

A mainstay of Texas radio charts, Watson has become an icon of Texas-based country music in recent years. Now based out of Abilene, Watson has had numerous albums top the country albums charts and broke into mainstream airplay in 2017 with his hit single “Outta Style.”

Alongside Watson, Lari Dee Guy, Kit and Charlie Moncrief, the Priefert Family, and R.H. Steve Stevens, Jr. will be inducted into the Hall of Fame on Thursday.
