Two inductees were announced today for the West Texas A&M University Branding Iron Theatre Hall of Fame.
Jenny Nolan Bailey and Randall Carver will be inducted into the Hall of Fame, in a ceremony planned for Saturday, April 22nd.
Bailey, a 1993 graduate of WTAMU, has worked on several films. Bailey appeared onscreen in Judge Reinhold's "The O'Keefes." Bailey has also worked as an assistant director in several films, including Steven Spielberg’s "War of The Worlds," Paul Thomas Anderson’s "There Will Be Blood," and Steven Spielberg and Peter Jackson’s "The Adventures of Tintin." Bailey also worked on several television shows including, "The West Wing," "Joan of Arcadia," "Saving Grace," "Men of a Certain Age," and "2 Broke Girls."
Randall Carver was an original cast member of "Texas." He also appeared in the Academy Award-nominated film "Midnight Cowboy." Carver appeared in the 2008 Best Picture winner "There Will Be Blood." Carver's television appearances include the role of John Burns on "Taxi," and several guest roles on series such as "Malcolm in the Middle," "Norm," "Murder, She Wrote," "The Love Boat," "Emergency," "The Rookies," "The Six Million Dollar Man," "The Waltons," "Room 222," "Mod Squad," "Alias Smith and Jones," "Here’s Lucy," and "Casual."
The two will be inducted in a ceremony at the Sybil B. Harrington Fine Arts Complex, Branding Iron Theatre on April 22nd at 3pm. The duo will also appear in a Q&A at 1pm.
Both events are free and open to the public.
